Dear Friends and Family,

Hello, and welcome to Swaan! This is our first official blog post, and we are incredibly excited to be launching Swaan in 2023.

To his children, Gerrit Swaan is a great dad who allowed us to explore life and pursue our dreams, safe in the knowledge that we could always go home again. To others, he is a family man who loves sports, his financial banking profession, having a blast, and his passion for art.

After his retirement, he was able to dedicate his time to his passion for art, spending almost ten years creating 12 unique and beautiful paintings, each one with its own unique storyline and visuals.

He has been completely focused on creating these stunning pieces, and we have seen firsthand the many years of devotion and hard work he has put in. Each image started with the storyline before the original artworks were created using various techniques, lightning, sample printing, and more.

Now, we’re excited to open his artwork to the world. We have always joked that we only need to reach one million people, and with 7.9 billion in the world, why not give it a try!

Of course, this is just the first small step of a long marathon ahead, but feel free to have a first look at our platform – and if you like what you see, feel free to purchase one of these incredible paintings.
